SEYMOUR – Jody L. Crosby, age 47, of Seymour, beloved husband of Amy (LaPaglia) Crosby, entered into peaceful rest suddenly on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 in Whately, MA. Born in Derby on February 15, 1971, he was a son of the late Arthur David and Donna (Poole) Crosby.

A truck driver for Brown Bear Trucking, Jody especially loved watching and supporting his daughter, Faith, play softball. He will be remembered for his laughter and spending time with his family.

In addition to his wife of 17 years, survivors include his loving daughters, Faith Crosby of Seymour, and Destiny Crosby of Wolcott; step-son, Christian Walker of Ansonia; brothers, Michael Crosby and his wife Cathy of Waterbury, Jim Crosby and his wife Caryn of FL, and Wesley Edwards of Beacon Falls; his cherished granddaughter, Serenity, as well as his niece, Abigail Crosby.

A memorial service will take place on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at 8 pm in the Ralph Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church St., Seymour. Family and friends may greet the family Tuesday afternoon from 4 pm until the time of service. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
