SEYMOUR, CT: John H. Madigosky, III, age 66, a lifelong Seymour resident entered into peaceful rest Feb. 23, 2013 at Masonicare, Wallingford. Mr. Madigosky was born Oct. 22, 1946 in Derby, son of the late John H., Jr., and Monica (Schuster) Madigosky. John was retired from the Seymour WPCA, and was a Vietnam War Veteran serving in the U.S. Army. He was a communicant of St. Augustine Church, a member of the Plains Township, PA American Legion, the Seymour Alumni Club, and the Concordia Singing Society; he enjoyed golf, and was an avid NY Yankees and Pittsburgh Steelers Fan.
John leaves his loving family including his brother, Richard Madigosky of Seymour, a niece, Denise Ostrowski and her husband James, and their children, Dena and Christopher, an aunt, Bernadine Canarini, uncles, Adam Schuster and his wife Sophie, and Stanley Schuster and his wife Madelyn, and cousins, Frederick Madis, Steven Madigosky, Dr. Walter and Susan Madigosky, and Helen Madigosky and many extended family and friends. Family would like to thank the doctors and staff at the VA Hospital, Yale-New Haven Hospital and Masonicare for the wonderful care given to John.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in St. Augustine Church, 35 Washington Ave., Seymour. Interment with full Military Honors will be in St. Augustine Cemetery (Springtime). Calling Hours are also Saturday from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. in the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 W.
