John B. Earley, Sr., 91 a longtime Bethany resident, he entered peaceful rest on March 28, 2024; he was the beloved husband of the late Rosemary “Rose” (Carbutti) Earley, and father of John B. Earley, Jr. of Seymour.
John was predeceased by his parents, Theodore and Ruth (Davis) Earley, his brother Russell D. Young, and his sister June Earley Bathgate. John was the owner/operator of a large dairy farm in Bethany, which he managed with his wife Rose and son John, Jr. He devoted his entire life to his interest in agriculture, which was a large part of his family heritage. John greatly enjoyed spending time with both his immediate and extended family. He always had countless stories to share with others about interesting events that occurred throughout his lengthy life. Survivors include his brother and sister-in-law, Andrew and Carol Carbutti, along with several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice. Calling Hours are Saturday April 13th from 10 to 11 AM at Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 W. Church St., Seymour. The funeral will begin at 11 AM at the funeral home.
