John T.  Kycia
OXFORD: Mr. John T. Kycia, age 61, beloved husband of Kathleen Hecht Kycia, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, February 23, 2009 in Waterbury. John was born in Germany on July 9, 1947 to the late Frank and Jadwiga Kycia. He was an operations manager for PrimeSource in Waterbury for the past 12 years. In addition to his devoted wife, John leaves a son, Stephen M. Kycia and his wife Amanda of Meriden and a daughter, Elaine M. Gogal and her husband Matthew of Middletown. He also leaves his beloved granddaughter, Andrea Gogal and was expecting his second in the fall. Family and friends may call on Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church Street, Seymour. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, February 27 at Saint Thomas the Apostle Church at 10 a.m. Interment will be held in private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Oxford Public Library, 486 Oxford Road, CT 06478.
