Mr. Joseph Gluz, age 79, of Seymour, passed away on Thursday, November 25, 2010 at CT Hospice in Branford.

He was born on June 5, 1931 in Seymour to the late Michael Gluz and the late Mildred (Bolick) Gluz Zuraw. Mr. Gluz was a maintenance technician at Union Carbide in North Haven for many years before his retirement. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War. Mr. Gluz was a member for 49 years at the Emil Senger Post, American Legion in Seymour.

He is survived by his devoted son, David Gluz of Naugatuck and many dear friends.
