Obituary for Joseph V. Konschnik Sr.

BEACON FALLS: Joseph V. Konschnik, Sr. age 76 of Beacon Falls, beloved husband of Lee (Conant) Konschnik, entered peaceful rest on Tuesday, September 8, 2020 in his home surrounded by family. Born in Hazelton, PA, on February 22, 1944, he was a son of the late Rudolph Sr. and Violet (Antonelli) Konschnik.

A retired tool and dye maker for Schwerdtle Stamp, Joe had many passions in life including the Minnesota Vikings, quads, racing boats, Pennsylvania, being outdoors, Yukon Jack, and especially his two Corvettes. But most of all, he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, Lee, of 55 years, survivors include his sons, James Konschnik of FL, and Jason Konschnik of CT; his 2 son in-laws, 6 adored grandchildren and 3 cherished great grandchildren. Joe was predeceased by his son, Joseph V. Konschnik, Jr., as well as his brothers Louis and Rudolph Konschnik, Jr.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Michael’s Church, 25 Maple Ave. Beacon Falls, CT 06403. Inurnment will follow in St. James Cemetery Cross Street, Naugatuck. The Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 161 W. Church St., Seymour is entrusted with the arrangements.
