Julia Conti, age 82, of Seymour, passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2012 at Griffin Hospital, Derby.

She was the daughter of the Joseph and Margaret (Khoury) Sliby and was born on February 23, 1929 in New Haven.

Mrs. Conti is survived by her devoted daughter, Deborah Sciaraffa and her husband, Paul, and her sister, Elizabeth Onofrio of Northford and four grandchildren, Michelle Brenton of Beacon Falls, Gena Sciaraffa of Plainville, David Sciaraffa and his wife April of Seymour, Brian Sciaraffa and his wife Kate of Seymour, and eight great grandchildren, Brian, Sarah, Eddie, Olyvia, Hannah, Steven, Mallory and Jason and several nieces and nephews. Her brother, Joseph Sliby predeceased her.

A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Saint Lawrence Cemetery, 280 Derby Ave. West Haven. There will be no calling hours.
