Life Story for Lillian M. Harris

SEYMOUR: Lillian M. Harris, age 99, lifelong resident of Seymour, passed away on June 7, 2009 at the Griffin Hospital, Derby. Lillian was born on May 4, 1910 in Seymour to the late Albert and Mary (Allen) Harris. She was a programming analyst and accountant for the Farrel Corp in Ansonia for 47 years before her retirement in 1975. She was a member of the Farrell Old Timers Club and member of the former Twenty Five Week Club at the Church of the Good Shepherd. Lillian is survived by 5 nieces and nephews, Charlene DeGeorge and her husband Milton of Seymour, Charles Pepe and his wife Mary Lee of Seymour, Mary Auricchio and her husband Francis of Glendale, AZ, Glenn Harris and his wife Addie of Poway, CA and Joan Harris-Veit and her husband Steven of Napa, CA, 15 grand nieces and nephews, 14 great grand nieces and nephews, and a great great grand niece. Her brother, Albert Harris and two sisters, Leah Pepe and Nora Harris predeceased her.
Family and friends may call on Wednesday, June 10 from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church Street, Seymour followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at the Church of the Good Shepherd, 135 Mountain Road, Seymour. Interment will be in Union Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Church of the Good Shepherd.
