Obituary for Linda Marie McPhail (Donofrio)
Linda Marie (Donofrio) McPhail, age 65 of Ansonia, beloved wife of the late Anson McPhail, Jr., entered peaceful rest on Friday May 1,2020 at Arden House in Hamden. Born in Derby on September 27, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Philip Salvator and Helen Maria (Hickey) Donofrio Sr.
Linda, aka "Lynn", was a loving mother and wife. A true home maker to her family. Lynn’s passion were cleaning, cooking, arts and crafts, jewelry, and picture collages.
She will be remembered for the love she showed her family and the prayer life she instilled in her kids. She loved The Lord and served Him with all of her life.
Survivors include her five loving children, Charles Byrd, Anson McPhail III, Angel Jackson & her husband Pastor Shawn Jackson, Tracy McPhail, and Crystal McPhail; siblings, Laurie A Stewart-Ryder & her husband Ron, and Nicholas Donofrio, as well as her sister-in-law, Carol Donofrio. She has six cherished grandchildren Keith, Elaanie, Aliyah, Shawn Jr., Angel, and Ava along with a host of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Philip S. Donofrio Jr. and her sister Dawn Donofrio.
Due to social restrictions, all services are being held at the convenience of the family. The Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home has been entrusted with her services.
