Condolence From: Kim Dowd
Condolence: I am so very sorry for your loss. Lori was wonderful with Galen here at the high school, and she always had a smile on her face. I know that there is nothing that I can say to help with your grieving as I lost my husband just last month, and when someone so young is lost so suddenly, it is a shock. I do hope, however, that in time you can celebrate the wonderful things about Lori without pain. My heart goes out to you.

Condolence From: Kelly Budd
Condolence: I have known Lori for the past three years because she worked with Galen, and she and Galen spent at least one block every day in the Keene High School library with me. We had some great talks about rock bands, leather jackets, Trans-Siberian Orchestra, her daughter Kelly, and life in general. Galen and I used to pick on Lori for taking too long to read a book that he had already listened to. She used to cover her ears and hum so she couldn't hear us talking about a part she hadn't gotten to yet. I love that Galen got Lori to read the Twilight series. I would run into Galen and Lori around town in the summer. One summer I met them outside Toadstool Bookshop and Galen's face was all scratched up from a fall while driving too fast. Lori and I used to tell Galen to slow down so you can bet we used his little accident to keep preaching that message to him. Lori was a lovely woman who was always smiling and happy and fun. I am going to miss seeing her in the library every day.

Condolence: I share in your sadness over the loss of Lori. She was a wonderful person and caregiver. I have known her for several years in her role as LNA, mostly in her work with Galen, a student here at Keene High School.
She was fun to work with and always had a smile for everyone. She always spoke about family and we knew how much you all meant to her. I will miss having her with us. Having lost a sister from illness at a young age, I can relate to your feelings of loss. Keep fond memories in your heart.
Sincerely,
Harriet Davenport, School Nurse

Condolence: Dearest Peck/Michaelson Family:
I really am not sure why I am writing this as I am not sure how to express my love and sympathy to all of you. I remember Lori as being "sunshine on a cloudy day" with her wonderful smile and I can only imagine what a loss you must all be feeling. Please know that your family/friends are with you and love you and hope you can find peace. Love, Nancy

Condolence: To Lori's family,
I knew Lori back in the 70's; What a beautiful girl! I went to her wedding;saw her hours after Kelly was born..We worked together for a while in a Natural Food store in Ansonia.
I will always remember Lori as a kind person, truly beautiful inside & out...She sparkled!
I moved to Vermont 27 yrs ago & lost touch with her.
Our last correspondence, she sent me Kelly's kindergarten picture!
Visiting in CT, this morning I saw, sadly, her obituary. The memories flooded in.
To Kelly & family, may your own memories sustain & comfort you in this difficult time.
Lori, I hope to see you again, on the Other Side, at the big Festival of Friends. Peace.

Condolence: Dear Kelly Anne,

As the first grandchild in our family, my neice, and just because you are a very special kid, you have my support and heartfelt sympathy in this difficult time. Each of us has only one mother and yours was a special person. She was fantastic mom; she did a great job bringing you up. I loved Lori always and will especially cherish the memories of the days in Bestemor's pool when you 'kids' were much younger as well as ones your mom and I spent on 'adult time'. Her laughter & cheerfulness, her smile, her silliness, and her perfect printing -even on this past year's Christmas envelope and card which is archived- will remain with me forever. As time goes on, the sadness and loss you feel now will be tempered by the memories of her which will provide you with support. Remember: each of us has only one mother and you were blessed with a phenomenal one!

Always here for you...

Love,
Aunt Donna
