Obituary for Louis A. Luskay, Jr.
OXFORD: Louis A. Luskay, Jr., age 68 of Oxford, beloved husband of the late Lenore (Nowakowski) Luskay, entered peaceful rest on Monday, September 19, 2022 in Griffin Hospital. Born in Derby on January 4, 1954, he was the son of the late Louis, Sr. and Grace (Whittemore) Luskay.
A lifelong resident of Oxford, Louis was a retired school bus driver for the town of Oxford. He loved NASCAR as well as working on and tinkering with cars, and was a member of the Danbury Racetrack pit crew. Louis also liked reading and was an avid Sudoku player.
Survivors include his loving son, Louis Luskay, III and his wife Annmarie of Oxford; step-grandchildren, Julianna Sagliano and John Michael Sagliano II, as well as several cousins. In addition to his parents and wife, Louis was predeceased by his beloved daughter, Jessica Luskay.
Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Friday, September 23, 2022 from 4pm to 7pm in the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 W. Church St. Seymour, CT 06483. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the family through the funeral home. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
