Lynn (Tynes) Padgett, age 75 of Seymour, beloved wife of the late William “Bill” Padgett, entered peaceful rest on Thursday, September 06, 2018 in her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Stamford, CT, on March 3, 1943, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Virginia (Lee) Tynes, Sr. Lynn was a Certified Nurses Aid for over 23 years who enjoyed caring for the elderly while working at the United Methodist Nursing Home in Shelton. She will be remembered for her generous heart and love for family. Survivors include her loving daughters, Tracy Kowalski and her husband David of Naugatuck, and Dawn Mudry and her husband George of Seymour; her twin sister, Lee Cordon and her husband Michael of WI; brothers, Edward Tynes, Jr. of Stamford and Thomas Tynes and his wife Susan of WI; 6 adored grandchildren, Kevin Kowalski and his wife Michelle, William Kowalski, Jessica and Juliann Kardos, George Mudry and his wife Stefanie, and Stacey Mudry; 8 cherished great grandchildren, Olivia and Noah Lewicki, Hannah, George, Ethan and Erik Mudry, and Cayley and Carissa DeVito. Lynn spent her last years in the loving company of her dear friend, James Dallas. Funeral services will take place on Monday, September 10, 2018 at 10 a.m. in the Ralph Hull Funeral Home 161 W. Church St., Seymour CT 06483. Family and friends may call Monday morning from 9 a.m. until the time of services. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
