Life Story for Martha L. Bradshaw

SEYMOUR, CT: Martha L. Bradshaw, age 90 of Seymour entered into peaceful rest March 28, 2010 at her home; she was the beloved wife of the late Leman W. Bradshaw. Mrs. Bradshaw was born January 26, 1920 in Wilkes Barre, PA, daughter of the late Matthew and Emily M. (Wisgin) Pudim. Martha was a longtime communicant of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Oxford, where she Past President and member of the former Ladies Aide Society for many years; she also was a member of the Altar Guild there. Martha’s pastime was filled with her love of her grandchildren as well as enjoying gardening. Mrs. Bradshaw leaves her loving family including two sons, Leman W. Bradshaw, Jr. of West Haven, and Kevin J. Bradshaw of Southbury, three daughters, Thaia Wilde, Doris Cripps, and Marie D’Amico all of Seymour, ten grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by seven brothers, Richard, Raymond, Arthur, Walter, Emil, Gustav, and Edward, a sister, Emily Steffero, a granddaughter, and a great granddaughter. Funeral services will be Thursday at 11:00 a.m. in Immanuel Lutheran Church, 25 Great Hill Rd., Oxford. Interment will be in Oak Cliff Cemetery, Derby. Family and friends are invited to call at the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church Street, Seymour on Wednesday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
