ANSONIA, CT: Mary Elizabeth Cooney age 65 of Ansonia entered into peaceful rest June 18, 2010 at her home. Mrs. Cooney was born October 24, 1944 in Milford, daughter of the late Henry and Elizabeth Ellison. She was retired from Derby Cellular. Mary leaves a son, Frank Ovchar (Heather) of Wethersfield, 3 daughters, Mary Staffier (Joseph) of Derby, Cynthia Richardson (Randy) of Sanford, ME, and Kathryn Cooney of Ansonia, a brother Albert Ellison of Oxford, and 5 grandchildren. A funeral service in celebration of Mary's life will be Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. in the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church Street, Seymour. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
