Welcome to Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home
Aunt Mary, as my daughter said, was a "firecracker" - fearless, feisty, good-natured, forthright. She had an indomitable spirit arising from a loving heart and adventurous spirit. Always with a beautiful smile, she never gave up on anyone.
When I was a child, she very frequently invited me to do things with her daughter, Janice, and we went all over Connecticut and neighboring states, always experiencing different things. On these trips, her first husband, Uncle Sam had a penchant for saying with a grin and twinkle in his eye, "I'll give a dime to the person in this car who yells the loudest." Well, Aunt Mary would start yelling, "Now, Sam!" and sure enough, she use to win the dime every time.
I will never forget the love and kindness she extended to me as a child and throughout my life.
She always ended her conversations with, "Now, will you pray with me?" So, Aunt Mary, my prayer this time is "May the God and saints who were your constant companions, bring you the joy and happiness you deserve. May you delight in being reunited with your loved ones."
We will miss you.
