Life Story for Mary Malvina Kitik (Harding)

OXFORD, CT: Mary Malvina Kitik, who proudly celebrated her 90th birthday, entered into peaceful rest June 7, 2010 at CT Hospice, Branford; she was the beloved wife of the late Michael J. Kitik. Mrs. Kitik was born in Biddeford, ME on June 1, 1920, daughter of the late Andrew and Adele (Olowska) Harding-Hardynce. Mary resided in Oxford for most of her life, and was a retired Wire Braider at the Kerite Company, Seymour; she also did housekeeping for many years. Her hobbies included knitting, crocheting, cooking and baking, she also enjoyed doing crafts, and spending time on her porch. Mary was very proud that she and her late husband had built their own home.

Mary leaves her loving family including her daughter, Janice “Kitty” Kitik and her fiancé Robert Hepperle of North Bergin, NJ, and her sister, Eileen Daignault of Saco, ME.

A funeral service in celebration of Mary’s life will be held Saturday at 10:00 a.m. in the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 161 West Church Street, Seymour. Interment will be in Mountain Meadows Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to call on Friday from 1:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
