Condolence: To the family and friends of Mary Kowalsky: I am so sorry for your loss. Although I did not know Mrs. Kowalsky personally I can tell just from the little I read about her life hat she was a loving woman that will be dearly missed. I know that at first it may seem impossible to cope, but what has helped me in times past are the Bible's promises for the future. For instance, the promise we have in the twenty-fourth chapter of the book of Acts reveals that there will , “be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.” (Verse 15) I love that scripture because it gives us hope that we can see all of our loved ones that we have lost in death once more. At first it may seem too good to be true, but most of God's word is focused on telling us how this and many other prophecies in the Bible will come true. Such promises always help me to see that God does care about each of us and since He, like a loving parent, hates to see us suffer He soon plans on getting rid of tragedies that we now have to face. There are so many more promises in the Bible that can encourage us both now and in the future, but I hope this brief scripture helped you as much as it has me in the past. With sincere sympathy, Candace

Condolence: I have the most wonderful memories of this woman. Spending a week with them at the lake in Maine, having lobster, the most delicious fresh-caught white perch and her slaw. She complained non-stop about those endless perch Uncle Doc caught! Visiting her in the past couple years at the house; she would always lay out a buffet, always a freshly-made assortment of pierogies, and being forced to leave with half the contents of her fridge and freezer. The last time I saw her, she amazed us all with her sleek and stylish black handbags, made of intertwined black plastic grocery bags lashed together that would have looked in place on a runway in Milan. I will miss knowing she is no longer in that farmhouse on Peach Farm Road.

Condolence: Maryann and Doc were our lake neighbors for many years ( as were Sandy, Lou and Claudia when they had time to visit ). But they were more than neighbors, they were our summer family and I miss them all. Doc and Ann were the closest thing to grandparents for our children. Sandy has kept me advised of her Mother's decline and I hope now she is finally in a better place.

Condolence: Dear Sandy, Claudia, & Family, I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of your beloved mother, and relative. She was a joy and a dear friend to everyone who knew her. She is going to be sorely missed by everyone who knew and loved her. I know she is in heaven telling jokes, and teaching the angels how to knit, crochet, and cook. They will love her too. May God bless all of you now and always. Sincerely, Barbara E. Scudder
