Obituary for Maurice A. "Moe" " Andy" Cosman
OXFORD - Maurice “Moe” “Andy” Cosman, age 37 of Oxford, beloved husband of Megan (Cullen) Cosman, entered peaceful rest on Friday, July 31, 2020 in his home. Born on December 26, 1982, he was a son of Colleen (Rivers) Billingham of Oxford and Allan Cosman of ME.
Moe had a passion for reading and writing, and recently published his first book, “Welcome The Meek Welcome The Dead”. He could often be found writing poetry and musical lyrics. An avid NHL Rangers and Notre Dame Football fan, Moe also enjoyed the outdoors and bonfires. Above all else, though, he loved his family, especially his wife Megan and his two sons, Aidan and Bennett-Finley, of whom he was so proud as well as his two step children Skylar and Jackson.
In addition to his wife, sons and parents, Moe is survived by his maternal grandmother, Colleen Shover of Bristol; step-father, Don Billingham of Oxford; step-mother, Pauline Cosman of ME; sister, Sarah Callands of Oxford; sister, Melissa Cosman of Oxford; brother Samuel Cosman of Maine as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and special nieces and nephews, Christian, Michael, Dion, Moriah and Luna.
A Memorial Service celebrating Moe’s life will take place on Saturday, August 8, 2020 DIRECTLY at 11 am in The River Foursquare Church, 14 Salem St. Naugatuck, CT 06770 while following social distancing and face covering guidelines. The Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 W. Church St. Seymour, CT 06483 has been entrusted with his services. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Moe’s name can be made by contacting The family directly.
