Obituary for Michael Spivak

SEYMOUR, CT: Michael Spivak, age 90 of Seymour, entered peaceful rest on Sunday, November 25, 2018 in his residence. Born in Ansonia on November 19, 1928, he was a son of the late Timothy and Tatiana (Zelem) Spivak. A proud US veteran serving in Korea, Michael helped in the design of the flood control dam for Naugatuck Valley, and worked as a civil engineer for the town of Stratford until his retirement.

Survivors include his sisters, Annette DiMauro of Prospect, and Carol Vansak and her husband Vlad of Oxford, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, John Spivak, and sisters, Ann Deren, Mary Bankert, Helen Klanko-Graziano and Julie Martin.

Funeral Services will take place on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. in Three Saints Church, 26 Howard Ave. Ansonia. Interment with full military honors will follow in Three Saints Cemetery, Seymour. Relatives and friends may call on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 W. Church St., Seymour, CT 06483.
