SEYMOUR, CT: Myron E. Wallace, 82 of Seymour entered into peaceful rest July 20, 2012 at the Hewitt Memorial Hospital, Shelton with his devoted family by his side. He was the beloved husband of Nancy (Dunn) Wallace. Mr. Wallace was born March 28, 1930 in Lowell, MA, son of the late Edgar and Mabel (Cram) Wallace; he resided in Seymour since 1969, formerly of Derby and Jonesport, ME. Myron was a US Navy Veteran of the Korean War, he was a member of the David S. Miles Post 174 American Legion, Oxford, a member of the Jonesport Masonic Lodge # 188 and the Jonesport Order of the Eastern Star. He was a blade builder at Sikorsky Aircraft in Stratford and Bridgeport for many years before his retirement. Mr. Wallace enjoyed spending time with his family, playing cards and filling in puzzles.
Besides his wife Myron leaves his loving family including, 3 daughters, Linda Quoka and her husband Michael of Oxford, Brenda Mavricz and her husband Michael of Seymour, and Debra Trunkfield and her husband Greg of Seymour, 5 grandchildren, Lee Golbieski and his wife Stefanie, Deanna Mylen and her husband Jeff, Jeff Trunkfield, Heather Rosado and her husband Nate, and Stacey Leary and her husband E.J., and 6 great grandchildren, Christian, Makai, and Juliana Rosado, John Rocco Golbieski, Skylor Mylen, and Chelsea Leary.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. in the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church Street, Seymour. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. Calling hours are also Tuesday prior to the service, at the funeral home from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Memorial gifts may be sent to the American Parkinson Disease Association, 135 Parkinson Ave., Staten Island, NY 10305.
