Obituary for Nancy Anne Wilson (Miles)
SEYMOUR: Nancy Anne (Miles) Wilson, age 63 of Seymour, beloved wife of Brent Wilson, entered peaceful rest on Sunday, June 12, 2022 in Griffin Hospital. Born in Derby on May 17, 1959, she was a daughter of the late Donald, Jr. and Helen (Stosuy) Miles.
A Big Y deli manager for the last 27 years (most recently in Derby), Nancy loved cooking, reading, puzzles (including Wordle), and the outdoors, especially being by the beach. She also enjoyed bird watching and tending to her bird feeders. Nancy had a contagious laugh and a keen sense of humor. Family was first for her, and she was proud of the many friends kept through the years since elementary school.
In addition to her husband of 36 years, survivors include her children, Nicholas Wilson of Seymour, and Morgan Jimenez and her husband Dr. Jean-Carlos “JC” of Southbury; siblings, Michael Miles and his wife Denise of FL and Patricia Birch and her husband Richard of Naugatuck; grandson, Marco Jimenez, with another grandson on the way; her aunts Suzanne Lane and Adrienne Stosuy, and uncle David Miles, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Memorial Service of celebrating her life will take place on Friday, June 17, 2022 at 6pm in the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 W. Church St. Seymour, CT 06483. Relatives and friends can visit from 4pm until the time of services. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. In honor of Nancy’s love of books, memorial donations can be made to the Seymour Public Library, 46 Church St. Seymour, CT 06483.
