SEYMOUR and BEACON FALLS, CT: Naomi L. Thomas age 93 of Seymour, a former longtime Beacon Falls resident entered into peaceful rest December 12, 2012 at Gardener Heights Health Center, Shelton; she was the beloved wife of the late Ralph C. Thomas, Sr. Mrs. Thomas was born August 9, 1919 in Worcester, MA daughter of the late Aimee and Lillian (Bachand) Patenaude. Naomi was a communicant of St. Michael's Church, Beacon Falls, and belonged to the Ladies Guild there; she attended the Bridgeport Hospital School of Nursing, she was a Charter Member of the Mother Cabrini Council of Columbiettes, Bridgeport. Mrs. Thomas enjoyed doing crafts and loved to bake and cook; she will be fondly remembered as "everybody's Nana", and for her "Apple Walnut Cake". Naomi's family would especially like to thank all the staff at Gardner Heights- especially the nurses and aides on Maple Wing for their compassionate loving and respectful care of their beloved mother.

Mrs. Thomas leaves her loving family including her son Ralph C. Thomas and his wife Barbara in Florida, daughters, Susan Robinson of Naugatuck, and Sandra Whitaker and her husband James of Beacon Falls, a sister, Elaine Dubois and her husband Raymond, and their son, her beloved nephew and Godson, Francis Dubois of Mentor, OH, 17 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She also leaves her extended family of Robert and Jackie Egan and their children and Joan and William Tomas. Her daughter, Carolyn L. O'Donnell, and brothers, Donald, Edwin and Robert predeceased her.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in ST. Michael's Church, 25 Maple Ave., Beacon Falls (directly). Interment will be in St. Michael's Cemetery, Stratford. There are no Calling Hours. Memorial Gifts may be sent to the Gardner Heights Resident Activity Fund, 172 Rocky Rest Rd., Shelton, CT 06524. The Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 W.
