I'm the niece of Elizabeth Heavens, Uncle Bill's wife, and a lifetime friend of Patti and Howard. Uncle Bill told me the story of how he reminded his mother that she would have to give him a Halloween treat or he'd play a trick on her. He kept it up all through October. On the day before Halloween, he came in from playing and she told him to go look in her room, there was a treat for him. He went into her room and there was a baby in a little bed. She told him, "That's your brother Norman. How do you like your treat?" He was very happy with his treat and told the whole neighborhood that he got a little brother for Halloween.
