Life Story for Olga Wendel Mahoney (Pawlak)

Olga  Wendel Mahoney (Pawlak)
SEYMOUR, CT: Olga Wendel Mahoney age 93 of Seymour entered into peaceful rest September 3, 2009 in Woodbridge; she was the beloved wife of the late James Mahoney and also the late Olof Wendel. Olga was born in Ansonia on October 30, 1915, daughter of the late Wasil and Anna (Sklarska) Pawlak. She resided in Seymour since 1926 and was a communicant of Salem Lutheran Church, Naugatuck. Olga retired from the H.D. Bronson Company formerly in Beacon Falls where she was employed for twenty five years, retiring in 1976. She was a twenty year volunteer at Griffin Hospital, Derby; a former member and Past President of the Concordia Singing Society, and was also a member and Past President of the Seymour Democratic Women’s Club.

Olga leaves her loving family including, two brothers, Paul Pawlak, Sr. and his wife Mildred of Seymour, and Andrew Pawlak and his wife Marilyn of Little River, SC, and several nieces and nephews. Her brothers, Michael, Joseph, Stephen and Peter predeceased her.

Funeral services in celebration of Olga’s life will be Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. in the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church Street, Seymour. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Ansonia.
