NAUGATUCK, CT: Phyllis D. Kriz, age 98 of Naugatuck, beloved wife of the late Ferdinand Kriz, entered peaceful rest on Monday, April 5, 2021 in Naugatuck surrounded by family. Born in Worcester, MA on January 26, 1923, she was a daughter of the late Reinhe and Delia (Dupuis) Mominee.
Phyllis, also fondly known as “Meme”, loved to cook and was especially talented at making pot roast and quiche. She also enjoyed knitting and watching Judge Judy, but above all else, she loved spending time with family and was especially proud to have met her great-great-granddaughter, Melanie.
Survivors include her loving daughter, Karen Smith; cherished grandchildren, Jen Linden, Michelle Tirella and her husband Patrick, and Matthew Smith Sr. and his fiancé Stephanie Veillette; adored great-grandchildren, Matthew Tirella and his wife Jennifer, Melissa Tirella, Matthew Smith Jr., Gracie Mae Linden, and Reagan Smith; her precious great-great-granddaughter, Melanie, as well as her dear friend Lois Kirkham and many nieces and nephews. Phyllis was predeceased by her sisters, Arlene Laurin and Pearl Tyree.
All services will be held at the convenience of the family and the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 161 W. Church St., Seymour, CT 06483 has been entrusted with her arrangements.
