OXFORD: Ramona Calsada, age 73 of New York City, beloved daughter of the late Manuel and Anne (Ossmann) Calsada, entered peaceful rest on Friday, June 5, 2020 in Oxford surrounded by family. Born in New York on November 18, 1946, Ramona worked for many years in the city as a designer for prominent companies in the lingerie industry. She enjoyed traveling, theater, music at Lincoln Center, and especially spending time with family and friends. Survivors include her loving brother, Richard Calsada and his wife Jean and nephew Matthew Calsada of VA; sister-in-law, Janice Pereira of Oxford; devoted nephew D.J. Dobitas, and niece, Corey Woods of Oxford, and five grandnieces/nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, brother Ronald Calsada and beloved kitties. It is her wish that any donations go to local cat rescue, shelter or SPCA. All services will be private at the convenience of the family and the Ralph Hull Funeral Home, 161 W. Church St. has been entrusted with her arrangements.
