For Ray

He was an amazing man. I remember when I was a senior in high school, and I was having a lot of trouble with prom. I had gone through four prom dates before finally convincing my best friend to take me. But we didn't have a way to get there. And the location was about thirty to fourty five minutes away. Ray let us use his truck. My prom would not have been possible if it weren't for his kindness. I remember hims joking with me and telling me he filled the toolbox with beer. Which he didn't, but I know he was just trying to make me laugh. We will all miss him. And from my family and I, here's a little something for him. [You can shed tears that he is gone or you can smile because he has lived. You can close your eyes and pray that he'll come back or you can open your eyes and see all he's left. Your heart can be empty because you can't see him or you can be full of the love you shared. You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday. You can remember him and only that he's gone or you can cherish his memory and let it live on. You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your back or you can do what he'd want: smile, open your eyes, love and go on.] We love you uncle Ray. You will be dearly missed. <3
