Mr. Raymond John Rivnyak, Jr. age 56, beloved husband of 32 years to Cindy (Smith) Rivnyak of Seymour entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at his home.

He was born on August 30, 1955 in Fort Dix, NJ and was the son of the late Raymond J. Rivnyak, Sr. and Irmgard (Moer) Rivnyak. Raymond was a purchasing manager for Vention Medical in West Haven. He was a U.S. Army veteran. Raymond loved spending time with family and enjoyed being outdoors, especially gardening.

In addition to his devoted wife, Raymond leaves four loving children, Jennifer Cangelosi and her husband Austin of Charleston, SC, Kristin Rivnyak of Boston, MA, Lyndsay Rivnyak of Houston, TX and Jonathan Rivnyak of Seymour and two grandchildren, Chloe and Lyla Cangelosi and his brother, Frank Rivnyak and his wife Laura of Oxford.

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, August 7 at 10:15 a.m. at the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church Street, Seymour with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at St. Augustine’s Church, Seymour. Interment will be held in private.
