Obituary for Reno J. Migani

SEYMOUR, CT: Reno J. Migani, 78 of Seymour entered into peaceful rest September 16, 2012 at his home with his devoted family by his side; he was the beloved husband of Suzanne M. (Grenon) Migani. Mr. Migani was born March 13, 1934 in Ansonia, son of the late Charles and Nazzarena (Zaccagni) Migani. He was a retired Lineman from the United Illuminating Co., and had also formerly worked for the family construction business. He was a US Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He also played football on the Air Force Team. Reno was a communicant of the Church of the Good Shepherd, and was a member of the Men's Club there. Mr. Migani volunteered his time to help people especially with the Valley United Way, and was a volunteer Firefighter and member of the Great Hill Hose Co. Reno enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid golfer and bowler. He was a member of the Central Subalpi Club, Ansonia; he loved spending time with his family at Cape Cod and especially going clamming.

Besides his wife, Reno leaves his loving family including, 2 daughters, Stephanie Martin of Southbury, and her companion John Fitzgerald, and Maria Migani of Seymour, 2 sons, Reno Migani, Jr. and his wife Nina of Guilford, and Christopher Migani and his wife Migdalia of Naugatuck, 2 brothers, Andrew Migani of Derby and Charles Migani of Seymour, a sister, Mary Atwater of Oxford, 5 grandchildren, Isabella, Sofia, and Giulia Migani, and Dominic and Jada Migani, and several nieces and nephews. HIs brother Henry and sisters Rose Hammill, Jenny Sylvester, and Josephine Lenahan predeceased him.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 9:15 a.m. from the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 W. Church St., Seymour to the Church of the Good Shepherd, 135 Mountain Rd., Seymour where a mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in Mountain Meadows Cemetery.
