Obituary for Robert P. Konnik Sr.
SEYMOUR: Robert P. Konnik, Sr., age 79, of Seymour, beloved husband of the late Marion (Lewis) Konnik, entered peaceful rest on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 in his home. Born in Dickson City, PA on February 16, 1941, he was a
son of the late Edward Sr. and Sally (Yezierski) Konnik.
A lifelong employee of Kerite, Bob had many passions in life. He loved hunting, golfing, UCONN Women’s Basketball, cigars, time with friends, being a member of the Russian American Club, and especially many years of marriage with the love of his life, Marion. His favorite days were spent shopping with her at the wholesale clubs, watching her win big at the casino, and eating Sunday lunch with her family at Tootsie’s house. Above all else, Robert loved spending time with his grandchildren, who were his world.
Survivors include his loving children, Robert L. Konnik and his wife Beth of South Windsor, Steven Konnik and his wife Cathy of Middlebury, and Sue Branco and her husband Mingo of Naugatuck; six adored grandchildren,
Christopher and Adam Branco, Kathryn and Matthew Konnik, and Alex and Dina Lasso; one cherished great grandson, Logan Lasso; his brother, Edward Konnik Jr. and his wife Dorothy of Seymour; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his twin sister, Roberta Fitzpatrick.
