Obituary for Roger Gaudet, Gaudet, Sr.

SEYMOUR, CT: Roger Gaudet, Sr., age 73 of Charles Road, entered into peaceful rest February 12, 2004 at the Griffin Hospital, Derby, he was the beloved husband of fifty one years to Mary (Bourgeois) Gaudet. Mr. Gaudet was born February 25, 1930 in Derby, son of the late Cyrus and Elmina (Babineau) Gaudet. Roger was a retired custodian at the Seymour Post Office where he worked for more than thirty five years, retiring in 1992. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War, and was a communicant of St. Augustine Church; a member of the Emil Senger Post 10, American Legion, and the Disabled American Veteran’s, and was a member and former steward of the Postal Workers Union.
Besides his wife Roger leaves his loving family including two sons, Roger Gaudet, Jr. of Beacon Falls, and Marcel Gaudet of Seymour, three daughters, Annette Ochoa of Derby, Gisele Gaudet of Shelton, and Monique Gaudet of Beacon falls, a brother Norman Gaudet of Seymour, two sisters, Gloria Gaudet of Seymour, and Rita Lucas of Rock Island, IL, and two grandchildren, Christopher Lee and Amber Marie Ochoa both of Derby.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 9:15 a.m. from the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church Street, Seymour. Interment with full Military Honors will be in St. Augustine Cemetery.
