Condolence: Ron was such a wonderful person and we will all miss him here at ASML.
When I talk with him last week and I didn't even think that it would be the last time. As sick as he was, I appreciate that he thought enough to call me and before hanging up he asked me how my husband was doing! I will always remember his gentle, quiet and caring disposition.
My prayers go out to his family. He may not be with us any longer, but we will always have the memories. God Bless you all.

Condolence From: Scott Pennell
Condolence: I had the pleasure of working with Ron at ASML/SVG since May 1997. Ron was a wonderful person, friend and colleague, and he will be greatly missed.

I would like to share my favorite memory of Ron with you:

I once took a night class in computer aided design with Ron at Sikorsy in Stratford. We were both tired after a long day of working and going to class, and after the class was over, we went to our cars to go home. The problem was that, during that evening, I had lost my car key so I was stuck (long story). Ron saw my problem, and without hesitating, he told me to get in his car and asked me where I lived. He drove me to my house in Fairfield (about 20 minutes away) to get my spare key, and then he drove me back to Sikorsky to get my car. It was now even later at night and we both had to drive home and work the next morning. Needless to say, I was extremely grateful and thankful (and embarrassed), but Ron just said "no problem". And that was the last time we ever discussed it. Even though it was a major inconvenience, to Ron it was "no problem" because he was able to help me and that's just the kind of guy that he was.

My prayer is that God will continue to bless Ron's soul and provide comfort and healing for his family and loved ones. Peace and my deepest sympathies go out to you all.

Kind Regards,
Scott Pennell
