DANBURY, CT: Susan T. Hughes, age 63 of Danbury, formerly of Las Vegas, NV, entered peaceful rest on November 21, 2022. Susan was born April 10, 1959 in Bridgeport, daughter of the late John and Florence (Schiro) Thomas. She graduated from Chaparral High School, Las Vegas, Class of 1977. Susan was a Professional Bartender and Server at various restaurants in Connecticut and Las Vegas, having most recently worked at the Sycamore Restaurant in Bethel. Susan had a love of all animals; enjoyed being in nature and taking walks in the park. She will be fondly remembered as a fun-loving person with a happy-go-lucky, vivacious soul. People were naturally drawn to her charismatic personality.

Susan leaves her loving family including her sisters, Joan Thomas of Seymour, Donna Wood, Karen Thomas-Goto, Diane Weir, and Janice Dawson and her husband Gilbert all of Henderson, NV, and her brother Robert Thomas of Las Vegas, NV; also she leaves her nieces and nephews, Christian, Ava Rose, and Thomas Dawson, and Sean and Sasha Weir. As well as her very best friend, Neal Bevilacqua of New Milford, CT.

All services are private. There are no calling hours. Her arrangements have been entrusted to the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church Street, Seymour.
