SEYMOUR: Thomas F. Maxwell, age 95, beloved husband of the late Edith “Betty” (Kaiser) Maxwell, entered peaceful rest on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 in Shady Knoll Healthcare Center. Born in Waterbury on April 20, 1928, Thomas was the son of the late Thomas and Henrietta (Walsh) Maxwell.
Thomas was a longtime resident of Seymour. A proud US Navy veteran, he spent many years as an automobile salesman, a job he thoroughly enjoyed. He retired as a counselor for Eagle Hill Rehabilitation Center of Newtown and also was a communicant of St. Augustine Church, Seymour. He is survived by many friends and family, and was a friend of Bill W.
The Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 161 W. Church St., Seymour, CT 06483 has been entrusted with the arrangements, and services will be held at a date and time to be determined.
