Obituary for Victor Anderson

Victor Herbert Anderson of Shady Knoll Health Care Center, Seymour, passed away peacefully on October 1, 2018. Victor was born on August 4, 1933 in Bridgeport CT and was a United States Marine having served in the Korean War. He worked for many years at C.R. Gibson in Beacon Falls, CT. Victor is survived by family members throughout the United States as well as his "family" in downtown Seymour where he was affectionately known as "The Mayor of Main Street." Mr. Anderson was a quiet, gentle and proud man who always helped others. He often reminded us of how precious life is and how we need to be more compassionate towards one another. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. A Military Service will be held on Monday, October 22, 2018 at 10 a.m. at the Emil Senger Post 10 American Legion located at 37 Bank Street, Seymour. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the American Legion Post 10 at P.O. Box 137 in Seymour CT.
