SEYMOUR, CT: Violet “Vivian” Ostaszeski, 95 a longtime Seymour resident, she entered into peaceful rest on December 2, 2022, she was the beloved wife of the late George Stanley Ostaszeski. Vivian was born May 13, 1927 in Beacon Falls, daughter of the late Charles Howe and Edith Russell. She was retired from the Uniroyal Company, Shoe Division, Naugatuck. Vivian was a communicant of St. Michael the Archangel Church, Derby; she enjoyed knitting and crocheting, and dining out. She also enjoyed the many years she and her late husband had spent in Florida.

Vivian leaves her loving family including her cousins, nieces and her brother-in-law, Richard Ostaszeski. Calling Hours will be Thursday from 9 to 11 AM at the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 W. Church St., Seymour. Her funeral service will immediately follow at 11 Am at the funeral home. Interment will be at Mountain Meadows Cemetery.
