Obituary for Virginia B. "Ginny" Cormack
Virginia “Ginny“ (Baker) Cormack, age 75 of Ansonia, beloved wife of Bruce Cormack, entered peaceful rest on Thursday, December 2, 2021 in Griffin Hospital surrounded by family. Born in Derby on March 31, 1946, she was a daughter of the late James, Sr. and Dorothy (Mitton) Baker.
A bank teller for the New Haven Police Dept. Federal Credit Union for many years, Ginny was loved and respected by all who she worked for and with. She was an avid Boston Red Sox fan, enjoyed bingo, and loved reading, especially mysteries and who-done-its.
In addition to her husband, Bruce, of 35 years, survivors include her loving sister, Elizabeth “Betty” Baker of Seymour, as well as a large extended family. She was predeceased by her brothers, James Baker Jr., Robert Baker, and Eugene Baker.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 from 4pm to 7pm in the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 W. Church St. Seymour, CT 06483. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
