Walter H. Hupprich, age 91, of Beacon Falls, formerly of Seymour, entered peaceful rest on February 3, 2022 surrounded by loved ones. He was the beloved husband of 67 years to Jacqueline (Kirk) Hupprich. Mr. Hupprich was born January 27, 1931 in Seymour, son of the late Rheinhardt and Helene (Theiss) Hupprich. He retired from the Kerite-Harvey Hubbell Company of Seymour as a Foreman. Walter was a graduate of Seymour High School Class of 1950, and he had later served in the National Guard. He was a communicant of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Oxford, and a member of the Oxford Senior Center; he also enjoyed Square Dancing, bingo, watching UCONN Women’s basketball and the time they spent in Florida.

Walter leaves behind, in addition to his wife, his loving family including a son, Gary Hupprich and his wife Diana of Beacon Falls, his daughters, Janet Betts and her husband Stephen of Seymour, and Gail Gendreau and her husband John of Beacon Falls; a brother Milton Hupprich and his wife Irene of Seymour; grandchildren, Amanda, Robert, Jaimee, Holly, Scott, Thomas, Evan, and Madeline; and great grandchildren, Alyssa, Scarlett, Liam, Nathaniel, Joshua and Hannah, also several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother Ortwin Hupprich and sisters, Elsa Richter and Edna King.
