Obituary for Wilbur Clark Jr.

Wilbur “Bill” Clark, Jr., age 73 of Seymour, came to rest peacefully on Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at Shady Knoll Nursing Home, Seymour, after years of battling numerous illnesses. With the help of Hospice, he drifted off peacefully. Born in Derby on September 23, 1946, he was a son of the late Wilbur Sr. and Cecelia (Berenak)Clark. Bill lived in Ansonia as a child, then Seymour over the years and graduated from Pine High School. The best job he ever had was being a dad and later grandpa. He was “The Best Ever”!!! Aside from a wonderful family man, Bill truly loved the outdoors; camping, hunting, fishing, or just taking walks to enjoy nature. He also had a love of cars and trucks, especially his “dually” and the caddy. Bill worked in the metal industry, first as a machine operator, and eventually onto management. He leaves behind a loving daughter, Jennifer Clark and grandson, Michael DiElsi, both of Seymour; sister, Marguerite Titta and her husband Tony of FL. He was predeceased by his sister, Beverly Fredricks. Bill’s family would like to thank the staff at Shady Knoll as well as Hospice for their care and attention. The Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 161 W. Church St., Seymour is entrusted with the arrangements and all services will be private.
