Life Story for William "Curly" Clark

DERBY, CT: William “Curly” Clark, age 69 of Derby and Morganton, NC entered into peaceful rest October 3, 2009 at the Griffin Hospital, Derby. Mr. Clark was born March 21, 1940 in Morganton, NC, son of the late William Taft and Margaret Fannie (Blankenship) Clark. William was a semi-retired painter and was formerly employed by Chromium Process, Shelton. Curly enjoyed hunting, playing cards and being at the pool hall with his friends.

Mr. Clark leaves his loving family including three sons, William Clark and his wife Heidi of Torrington, Edward Taft Clark of Derby, and Charles Frank Clark and his wife Lorraine of Ansonia, two daughters, Suzanne Dana and her husband Thomas of Derby, and Riva Clark of New Haven, three brothers, Sanford, Taft, and Frank Clark, and three sisters, Reba Blankenship, Jesse Faye Arnold, and Linda Smith all in North Carolina, eleven grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and his close friend Donnie.

A Celebration of Mr. Clark’s life will be Thursday at 7:00 p.m. in the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church Street, Seymour. Family and friends are invited to call also on Thursday prior to the service from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
