After several attempts to reach Tom by telephone. I recently called his nephew, Tom Peters who informed me of my Army buddy's passing. Tom and I met during WWII in London. We were in the military police together. While in England we visited with his grandparents. We saw one another once after the war, but kept in touch by phone 4 or 5 times a year.
