Life Story for Linda M. Schneider (Wolski)

I wanted to say a few words in memory of our cherished friend Linda. All of us here today, have indeed been touched with the privilege of knowing the beautiful person that she was~ and still is…now in Heaven, embraced in the warmth and peace of God’s eternal Love.

I met Linda only a year ago, when she was a patient at Shady Knoll. God had given me the true blessing of being Linda’s caregiver…. The moment I met Linda, I saw a compassionate and caring kindness that deeply touched my heart….She greeted me each and every day with a sweet and friendly smile. She never complained, and saw only the “bright side” to every situation. If Linda was having a bad day, or if she was feeling any kind of discomfort~~ we would NEVER know it. Her only concern was in watching over the nursing staff, making sure we took our breaks, and that we were being treated nicely. It was almost as though we were the patients ~ and SHE was the nurse. That was Linda, Always putting everyone and anything before her own needs. This was the quality that made her stand out above all the rest. I adored her and was so grateful to have found such a truly special friend…You could day, I found an Angel.

Although I only knew Linda for a short while, she made a tremendous positive impact in my life. Through her own examples, she taught me the true meaning of ‘unconditional love’. She taught me to be ‘true to myself’ and to live each day with ‘grace and dignity’…. I learned all this through Linda’s own actions. She was and always will be my sweet INSPIRATION.

Out of all the lessons and memories I hold of my beloved friend, the ONE greatest reflection I have is remembering how often Linda spoke about Donald~ her ‘One and Only’~ He was the eternal love of her life….Always there by her side, she told me endless times, how very very much she adored and appreciated him. Donald and Linda were not just best friends, they were eternal soul mates. They had tremendous respect for each other, and they are the true inspiration to the meaning of the words LOVE, COMMITMENT, and DEVOTION.

Linda’s memory will forever live on in our hearts. We will always remember the beautiful, gentle person that she was. We will forever be inspired and touched by the endless love she had for her husband and hero Donald ~ we will smile each time we think about how much she adored her pets…her fur babies as she called them, and we will cherish the joy and friendship that she gave unconditionally to each and every one of us.

We Love You Linda ~ your strength and goodness will always live on in everything that is BEAUTIFUL.
