SEYMOUR, CT: Florence Lillian Wilson age 86 of Bissell Place, entered into peaceful rest April 17, 2003 in Derby, CT. She was the beloved widow of Marvin H. Wilson. Florence was a communicant of the Seymour Congregational Church, and was a volunteer nurse’s aide during WW II. In later years she enjoyed her career in retail sales and management. Born June 6, 1916 in Brooklyn, NY, daughter of the late Henry and Florence (Twomly) Luken. A resident of Seymour for 34 years, Florence was the beloved mother of Joan Walters and her husband Lawrence of Longwood, FL, and Marvin Wilson and his wife Susan of Glen, NH, and daughter Veronica "Ronnie" Wityak of Seymour. Also beloved aunt of Joann Young and Judy Nash in NH. Florence was the loving grandmother of Greg and Steve Wityak, Mervin, Karen, and Scott Wilson, Debbie and Larry Walters, and L Mummy; also the proud great grandmother of Camden Gonzalez, and Eben Wilson. Florence enjoyed sharing her deep appreciation of art, poetry, music, and nature with others. She will be greatly missed by all. Funeral services will be Friday at 8:00 p.m. in the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church Street, Seymour. Interment will be in Evergreens Cemetery, Brooklyn, NY.
