Obituary for Anthony ""Tony"" Musto

SEYMOUR, CT: Anthony S. "Tony" Musto, age 63 of Scott Avenue entered into rest October 11, 2002 at the Griffin Hospital, Derby with his devoted family by his side. He was the beloved husband of Elizabeth "Betty" (Muzin) Musto. Mr. Musto was born May 25, 1939 in New Haven son of Carrie (Raiola) Musto of West Haven, and the late Samuel Musto. Tony was a machinist for 36 years at Jemco Corp., Beacon Falls, and resided in Seymour since 1984, formerly of Ansonia. Anthony was a communicant of the First Baptist Church, Ansonia, where he was the chairman of the Deacon Ministry, and also served as an usher. He served in the U. S. Army during peacetime. Along with his wife Betty, they operated Betty’s Bright Beginnings children’s day care, and was fondly known as "Uncle Tony". Tony was an avid New York Yankee fan, and was also a master craftsman.
Besides his wife and mother, Anthony leaves his loving family including 1 son Robert Musto and his wife Judy of Newtown, PA 1 daughter, Deborah Matto and her husband Mark of Oxford 2 step-sons, David Gracon and his wife Cindy of Ansonia, and Frederick Gracon and his wife Ava of Dallas, TX 1 brother, James Musto of Derby 2 sisters Antoinette Musto of West Haven, and Sandra Papuga of East Haven and 5 grandchildren Steven Storrs of Dallas, TX, Mark Matto, Jr. of Oxford, Marissa Matto of Oxford, Tyler Gracon of Ansonia, Drew Musto, and Olivia Musto both of Newtown, PA . He is also survived by his former wife Judith Musto of Seymour.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 9:00 a.m. from the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church Street, Seymour, to the First Baptist Church for 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery.
