SEYMOUR, CT: Arthur A. Shaw, age 70 of Maiden Lane, he entered into peaceful rest August 17, 2004 at his home; he was the beloved husband of Minnie (Foster) Shaw. Arthur was born April 7, 1934 in Siamonds, New Brunswick, Canada, son of the late Frank C. and Stella (Prosser) Shaw. He was Seymour resident since 1969 formerly of Littleton, ME, and Hartland, NB, CAN. Mr. Shaw was a retired machine operator from the Latex Foam Company, Ansonia; he was a communicant of the Advent Christian Church in Siamonds, was a member and Past Chancellor of the Knights of Pythias, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and writing poetry.
Besides his wife Arthur leaves his loving family including, two sons, Calvin Shaw of Seymour, and Dwayne Shaw and his wife Beverly on Siamonds, NB, CAN, two daughters, Melissa Forbes of Holly Hill, FL, and Colleen Verner and her husband Robert of Oxford, one brother, Clifton Shaw and his wife Marie of Peel, NB, four sisters, Glenna Trecartin and her husband Duke of Coldstream, NB, Patricia Bubar of ??, Marilyn Robinson and her husband Herbert of Woodstock, NB, and Darlene Batchelor of Ocala, FL, ten grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. His brother Wayne, and grandson, Kieth Verner predeceased him.
