Obituary for Barbara Simon

Oxford, Ct. Barbara Ann Simon, 63 of Oxford entered into peaceful rest at her home August 8, 2007. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Simon. Barbara was born in Derby February 12, 1944 daughter of Beatrice Cook of Shelton and the late William S. Cook, Sr. Barbara was retired from the State of Ct. Department of mental health having worked there for twenty two years. She was a resident of Oxford for twenty eight years formally of Ansonia.
Besides her mother, she leaves her loving family, two sons, Christopher Simon of Southbury and Joseph Simon of Derby. Daughter Cheryl Butz and her husband David of Wolcott. Brother, William S. Cook, Sr. of Winsted and sister, Linda Willets of Fl. Two grandchildren Nicole and Joseph Simon.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 7:00pm at the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church St. Seymour. Family and friends may call Tuesday from 4:00pm to time of service.
