OXFORD – Brett David Anderson, age 39, a lifelong resident of Oxford, entered peaceful rest on Friday, November 22, 2019 in his home. Born in Danbury on September 22, 1980, he was the beloved son of Glen and Marlene (Roller) Anderson of Oxford.

Brett was a cheerful person when in the company of others, always trying to make them smile with his “goofy” humor. He had a passion for roofing and siding which began at the young age of 13. Brett graduated from Seymour High School in 1998 and went on to open his own business, “Above the Rest Roofing and Siding”.
Despite a family rivalry, Brett was a diehard Denver Broncos fan and enjoyed frequent sports banter with his parents. He had many hobbies including collecting comic books and baseball cards, and will be remembered for his love of animals, especially Quincy, Buddy and Butterscotch.

In addition to his parents, survivors include his loving sister, Kimberly Anderson of Marlborough; brother-in-law, Michael Makowski; his two adored nephews, Mason and Kannon, as well as his paternal grandmother, Shirley Anderson and maternal grandmother, Ginny Hancock.

The Ralph Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church St. Seymour, CT 06483 has been entrusted with his arrangements. A Celebration of Brett’s Life will be held at his home on December 14, 2019 from 1pm to 5pm, friends and family are welcome. Memorial Donations can be made to a charity of your choice. Please love your children like there’s no tomorrow. “Nite Brett”!

Thoughts and prayers to Brett's family. Brett was my best friend going all the way back to 5th grade. We had so many good times growing up together. Brett had a huge heart and loved family. Brett was a brother to me and made me part of his family. You will truly be missed and loved.
