Obituary for Brian F. Healy

HUNTINGTON, CT: Brian F. Healy, age 54 entered into peaceful rest October 1, 2004; he was the devoted husband of Lisa Pickens. Mr. Healy was born December 29, 1949 in Stamford, beloved son of Frank and Frances (Czyr) Healy of Portland. He was resident of Stamford before moving to Huntington twenty-five years ago. Brian was the CEO of Sunshine Pools of Fairfield County. Mr. Healy received his BBA Degree from Iona College in 1977, and prior to that he earned an Associate Degree from Sacred Heart University. Brian’s first love was for his family, his wife Lisa, and daughter Kristen Elizabeth Healy and her mother Leslie Evanich of Shelton. His passion was hockey where he was known as "The Duke". He played Hockey for Iona College , and also Semi Professional Hockey with the Mid-Hudson Hockey League in New York. Brian was honored to play in the annual Snoopy Invitational Hockey Tournament in Santa Rosa, CA. While at Sacred Heart University, Brian played on the soccer team. He also an avid golfer.
Besides his wife, parents and daughter, Brian also leaves his loving sister, Lynn Bruneau and her husband Jeffrey, and nephew Jeffrey, and niece Meghan Bruneau all of Seymour.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. in the Church of the Good Shephed, 135 Mountain Road, Seymour. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be sent to the American Diabetes Association, 300 Research Parkway, Meriden, CT 06450. The Ralph E.
