SEYMOUR, CT: Cheryl (Thomen) Payne, age 51, a lifelong resident of Seymour entered into peaceful rest March 22, 2010 at Shady Knoll Health Center. She was born November 23, 1958 in Torrington, daughter of the late Harold, Sr. and Mildred (Dzwonczyk) Thomen. Cheryl was a Certified Nurses Aide employed at Crosby Commons, Shelton, and was formerly employed by Bic Pen, Milford.

Cheryl leaves her loving family including two sons, Michael Payne, Jr, and Gordon Payne both of Seymour, two brothers, Harold “Butch” Thomen in NY, and Gordon Thomen in CT, her brother-in-law Charles Payne, Jr. (Linda) of Seymour, and several caring devoted family and friends. Her former husband Michael Payne, Sr. predeceased her.

Funeral services in celebration of Cheryl’s life will be Friday at 10:00 a.m. in the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church St., Seymour. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Ansonia. Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
