Life Story for Colleen M. Marlin (Glahn)

Colleen M.  Marlin (Glahn)
Colleen M. Marlin, 78, of Beacon Falls, formerly of Huntington and Fairfield, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, August 13, 2013. Born in Bridgeport on August 5,1935 to the late Raymond and Irene (Burns) Glahn. Retired from Duchess Restaurants. Colleen loved going to the casino and get-togethers with family and friends. She will be especially remembered for her Love and Devotion to her family. She will be greatly missed by all and her cherished memory will always live on. Colleen leaves her loving family including her children, Deborah Catandella and her husband Steve of Vero Beach, Florida, Barry Parrella and his wife Joanne of Fairfield, Donna Parrella Feeney and her partner Rich Rondini of Beacon Falls, Denise Parrella Lynch and her husband Edward of Simsbury, her sister, Kathleen Wheeler and her husband Donald of Trumbull, her brother, David Glahn and his wife Meg of Bethel, her daughter-in-law, Louise Walkowsky of Milford, her grandchildren, Jennifer, Petra, Michael, MaryKate, Luke, Matthew, Gregory, Angela, James and Timothy, 8 great grandchildren, several cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family members. Her husband Robert P. Marlin, son Ronald J. Walkowsky, and grandson Jonathon M. Feeney predeceased her. Calling Hours will be Wednesday August 28th. 5 to 7 p.m. at the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 W. Church Street, Seymour. A Memorial Service in celebration of Colleens life will directly follow at 7 p.m. Interment will be Saturday August 31st, 11 a.m. in Center Cemetery, North Haven.
